Which Conference are YOU Attending?
The African-American literary community should count blessings that we are able to congregate and network among ourselves as writers and other adjunct luminaries to hone our craft and allow expertise to be shared. We do this well by the many confabs that are out there to give credence to making synergy flow, to sell books, to uplift authors, and to be on the production side of publishing. The Romer Review will always go on record to behoove interested parties that they should take advantage of fraternal order and make the choices that are conducive to their perception of success. Because of this, we recommend you check out the 2006 version of our conferences of choice. Choose them carefully, and do so with the preservation of mind that with each conference we are legitimizing ourselves, leveling the playing field, and making it a venue for both aspiring and veteran author to be among those that have the same goals in mind. You have many to choose from and with different venues:
The Harlem Book Fair- The Miami Book Fair International
- Romance Slam Jam
- BookExpo America (BEA)
- The Black Writers Reunion & Conference
- The RAWSISTAZ Affair
- The Baltimore Book Festival
Which book conference will you be attending this year?!
